Jamaal Anderson (* 6. February 1986 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) is a former American American football poker players. He played in his career with the Atlanta Falcons , the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League (NFL) on the position of the defensive end .

Early years

Anderson went to high school in his native Little Rock . He later went to the University of Arkansas .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

Anderson was selected eighth in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons . In the first year he started in 15 of 16 games on his position. However , he recorded his first sack only the following year in the season game against the Chicago Bears on October 12, 2008. For the 2009 season he moved to the position of defensive tackle . On July 29, 2011, he was released by the Falcons.

Indianapolis Colts

On August 1, 2011, he signed a contract with the Indianapolis Colts . On September 25, 2011, in the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers , he grabbed the football, after a fumble , which was beaten by Dwight Freeney from the hand of Ben Roethlisberger , and thus got his first and only touchdown in the NFL.

Cincinnati Bengals

Anderson signed a contract with the Cincinnati Bengals on March 23, 2012 . He was released on July 10, 2013.

Chicago Bears

On July 25, 2013, he signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears . Anderson was released before the season on August 17, 2013.
