James Keach (born December 7, 1947 in Savannah , Georgia ) is an American actor , director , producer and screenwriter .

His brother is the actor Stacy Keach . James Keach was married to actress Jane Seymour from 1993 to 2013 and they have two children together. It was the third marriage for James Keach. In 1999 he directed the TV film “Dr. Quinn - a passionate doctor “, which the television series Dr. Quinn - a passionate doctor . He met his wife on the set of the movie Escape through the Night after he had met her at his brother's house.

Keach made several films with his wife in the lead role.
