James Thomas Schuerman (born April 5, 1957 in Burlington , Massachusetts ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Milwaukee .

Life

James Schuerman received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee on May 17, 1986 through Archbishop Rembert Weakland OSB .

Pope Francis appointed him Auxiliary Bishop in Milwaukee and Titular Bishop of Girba on January 25, 2017 . The Archbishop of Milwaukee, Jerome Edward Listecki , donated it and the same time appointed Auxiliary Bishop Jeffrey Robert Haines on 17 March of the same year, the episcopal ordination . Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Gary , Donald Hying , and Emeritus Auxiliary Bishop of Milwaukee, Richard John Sklba .
