Jan Strządała
Jan Strządała (born February 4, 1945 in Wisła ) is a Polish poet and organizer.
Life
Jan Strządała studied 1961-1967 at the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy Łódź . During breaks in his studies, he began to become literary and worked in various professions. In 1969 he made his debut as a poet with the volume "Przegrany semestr" under the pseudonym John Strehl.
Over 70 independent publications (poems, essays) appeared in numerous cultural magazines as well as on Polish radio and television . Various texts were set to music, including a. by Ewa Szydło. Jan Strządała is an honorary member of the Polish-American Poets Academy, Inc. in Wallington. His poetry has been translated into Russian, German, Czech, English, Italian and Esperanto . Texts by the poet were translated into German by Andreas Johannes Painta and Wiesław Trzeciakowski and broadcast on Deutsche Welle in January 2003. Jan Strządała was a participant in the German-Polish poet steamer .
