Jana Euler

Jana Euler (* 1982 in Friedberg ) is a German artist .

Career

Euler studied at the Städelschule in Frankfurt and in Glasgow, Scotland . Then she worked with a studio grant from the Hessian Cultural Foundation in Paris . She lives and works in Brussels.

In 2018 Euler received the 1822 Art Prize of the Frankfurter Sparkasse, endowed with 15,000 euros .

Painting is at the center of her art . Euler also uses sculptures and texts to create large-scale installations. She moves artistically in the field of tension between abstraction and figuration, text and form, seriousness and humor , clear visual language and spatially constructed situations.
