Jana Werner

Jana Werner (* before 1969) is a German actress and singer . She won a prize at the 1991 national singing competition .

life and work

Her training took place at the Berlin HDK and at the Stage School Hamburg . She played the leading roles in musicals including The Rocky Horror Show , Nostalgia , Blue Jeans at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. In the German version of the Walt Disney film Beauty and the Beast , she dubbed the character Belle and sang the title duet with Peter Hofmann . She also played the role of Belle at the European premiere at the Raimund Theater in Vienna and in the German tour production.

As a voice actress , she has lent her voice to a number of popular female lead roles in many cartoons and musical adaptations , often just the singing voice. Accordingly, you can also hear them on some of the accompanying German-language soundtracks.

In the Musical Theater Duisburg Jana Werner appeared on stage as Fantine in Les Misérables and was at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg as Guenevere in Camelot , as narrator in Joseph and as Baroness von Waldstätten in Mozart! to see.
