Jane McGregor
Jane McGregor (born January 1, 1983 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian actress .
Life and accomplishments
McGregor made her debut in 1994 on the television series The Odyssey . In the comedy Naughty Beasts! (2002) she played the role of the schoolgirl Starla Grady , who wages a guerrilla war against her colleague Genevieve Le Plouff ( Piper Perabo ). She played the role of Flower in the award-winning Canadian drama Flower & Garnet (2002) .
In the mystery drama That Beautiful Somewhere (2006) by Robert Budreau , McGregor took on the female lead alongside Roy Dupuis . In the comedy Citizen Duane (2006) she played one of the bigger roles alongside Donal Logue . Her latest film, the Canadian drama American Venus, starring Rebecca De Mornay and Matt Craven , will be screened on September 8, 2007 at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival .
McGregor received the Vancouver International Film Festival's Women in Film Award in 2002 .
