Jankowo is a village in the municipality of Pobiedziska in the Poznański powiat in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in western central Poland with a Schulzenamt . The place is located about 8 km southwest of Pobiedziska and 18 km northeast of the state capital Poznań .

history

After the second partition of Poland in 1793, the place belonged to the Schroda district and from January 4, 1900 to the Posen-Ost district . The community encyclopedia for the Kingdom of Prussia from 1905 gives 25 inhabited houses on 482.5 hectares for the place under the later name Mariengrund . The 239 residents, made up of 29 German-speaking Protestants and 209 Polish-speaking Catholics, as well as one with a German mother tongue, were divided into 38 multi-person households. The Protestant parish belonged to the Jerzykowo parish , the Catholic to the Usarzewo parish . For January 1, 1908, it is stated that the place was part of the Pudewitz police district . On December 1, 1910, the place had 199 inhabitants.

From 1975 to 1998 the place belonged to the Poznan Voivodeship . Jankowo Młyn also belongs to the Schulzenamt .
