Uzarzewo is a village in the Swarzędz municipality in the Poznański powiat in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in western-central Poland . The place is located about 6 km northeast of Swarzędz and 14 km northeast of the state capital Poznań on the Poznań – Toruń railway line .
history
After the second partition of Poland in 1793, the place belonged to the Schroda district and from January 4, 1900 to the Posen-Ost district . The place was an estate district and had 402 inhabitants in 1910. The community encyclopedia for the Kingdom of Prussia from 1905 gives the manor district 18 inhabited houses on 901.2 hectares. The 316 residents, made up of eight German-speaking Protestants and 308 Polish-speaking Catholics, were divided into 47 households. The Protestant parish belonged to the Jerzykowo parish , the Catholic to the Usarzewo parish. On January 1, 1908, the manor district belonged to Schwersen's police district .
From 1975 to 1998 the place belonged to the Poznan Voivodeship .
In the former manor house, the Muzeum Przyrodniczo-Łowieckie , a branch of the Muzeum Narodowe Rolnictwa i Przemysłu Rolno-Spożywczego (German: National Museum of Agriculture and the Agricultural Food Industry ) is housed.
