Jannis Schliesing (born January 5, 1992 in Münster ) is a German football player .

Career

Jannis Schliesing grew up in Bocholt and started playing football at the district club in Stenern . He came to Rot-Weiss Essen via VfL Rhede , where he was still playing in the first A-year, and then to Rot-Weiss Oberhausen , where he completed his youth. At the age of 18 he was already training with the pros and made his U23 debut on matchday 15 of the Niederrheinliga . In the 2011/12 season he was already in the squad of the third division team of RWO and on August 6, 2011 he made his professional debut as a substitute. Three game days later, Jannis Schliesing moved up into the starting line-up. In February 2012 he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture and meniscus damage in his left knee in a game in the RWO reserve and was out for the rest of the season. In total, he came to fourteen season appearances in the 3rd division.

For the 2012/13 season, Jannis Schliesing was committed by VfL Bochum , where he was scheduled for the regional league reserve. After a year off injury, he made his debut for the VfL regional league team in March 2013. However, it was his only use for Bochum in the 2012/13 season . After further problems with his injured knee, he did not come to his next game until November 15, 2013 against 1. FC Köln II in the following season . In the winter break of 2013/14 he joined the national league leader 1. FC Bocholt , with whom he was promoted to the Oberliga Niederrhein . However, his susceptibility to injury continued at his new club, and so they separated again in the summer of 2015. For the 2016/17 season he was signed by the Westphalia division BSV Roxel.
