Jeff Gyasi (born January 4, 1989 in Gladbeck ) is a German-Ghanaian soccer player .

Career

Jeff Gyasi grew up in the Ruhr area and played football in his youth at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and most recently at SG Wattenscheid 09 . He completed his first senior year in Bochum in 2008/09 with the Vorwärts Kornharpen district association in the Westphalia League . But then there was bankruptcy and together with two club mates he joined the Essen-Schonnebeck game association. In the 2009/10 season he also played in the regional league against the second team of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. When this was promoted to the sixth class Niederrheinliga a year later , they signed their former youth player.

Immediately after his engagement, Gyasi also took part in the season preparation of the professional team. When the first team was relegated to the 3rd division the following year , the defensive midfielder also moved up to the professional squad for the 2011/12 season . On the fourth day of play he was substituted on for the first time and from the next day he was on the starting line-up.

For the 2012/13 season Gyasi moved to third division competitor SV Wehen Wiesbaden . After a good first season he missed the preparation for the new 2013/14 season due to hip problems and was only used in the Wiesbaden reserve. In January 2014 he agreed with the club to terminate the contract early and moved to SV Elversberg for the second half of the season . After the Elversberger's relegation from the 3rd division, his contract was not extended.

In September 2014, the regional league team BSV Rehden signed the contractless Gyasi. After three seasons in the Regionalliga Nord , in which Gyasi made 54 appearances, he moved to the Oberliga Niederrhein for SC Düsseldorf-West . For the 2019/20 season he moved to the regional division FSV Duisburg .
