Jari "Euffa" Europaeus (born December 29, 1962 in Helsinki ) is a former Finnish football player and coach. The defender played between 1981 and 1996 as an active player for five different clubs in Sweden and Finland and made 54 appearances for the national team.

Europaeus played for the first time in 1981 for HJK Helsinki in the Finnish first division. In its first season, HJK won both the championship and the cup. In 1984 Europaeus went to Sweden and played there for Gefle IF in the Allsvenskan . However, the club rose in the same year and the next two years Europaeus played in the second Swedish league before he moved to Östers IF in 1987 . Europaeus played two seasons with the club from Växjö and then moved back to Finland at the age of 26 to the Lappish first division club Rovaniemen Palloseura . In that one season at RoPS he was voted Footballer of the Year by the national football association. From 1990 onwards, Europaeus put on the HJK jersey again. He stayed with the Finnish record champions for six years and won his Finnish championship titles number two and three in 1990 and 1992. In 1996 he moved to the newly founded club Atlantis FC in the third division and ended his active career here after one season.

Jari Europaeus then completed his coaching training at the Finnish Football Association and was coach of Atlantis FC until October 2000. In 2005 he was coach of the Ykkönen club FC Viikingit and rose in the 2006 season with this club to the Veikkausliiga . However, the Viikingit could not keep the class and the coaching contract was terminated prematurely due to relegation.
