Jasmin Schornberg (born April 7, 1986 in Lippstadt ) is a German canoeist .

Born and raised in Lippstadt, Schornberg moved to Augsburg in 2005 after graduating from high school . Here she studies media informatics and is a member of the sports promotion group in Sonthofen . Schornberg is one of the few competitive athletes in canoe slalom with his own manager.

Schornberg came to canoeing through her mother and has been training regularly since she was twelve. She became world champion in canoe slalom at the Canoe World Championships 2009 in La Seu d'Urgell in Spain . Further international successes are ten first places (in the individual evaluation: JWM 2004, WC 2007, above WM 2009; in the team evaluation: JWM 2002, JEM 2003, JWM 2004, EM 2005 U23, WM 2007, EM 2007, EM 2008) and three third places (JEM 2003 individual ranking, World Cup 2006 and World Cup 2009 team ranking).

At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , Schornberg represented Germany in the canoe slalom, in which only one participant per nation can start. She reached fifth place, 5.07 seconds behind the winner Émilie Fer from France. At the Canoe Slalom World Championships in Pau in 2017 , she won gold in the team competition.
