Jasper Kick (born May 25, 1984 in Delft ) is a Dutch ice hockey player who has been under contract with Hijs Hokij Den Haag since 2012 and has played with the club in the newly founded Belgian-Dutch BeNe League since 2015 .

Career

Clubs

Kick began his career as an ice hockey player with Hijs Hokij Den Haag , for whose second team he made his debut at the age of 18 in the Eerste divisie , the second highest division in the Netherlands. In the 2004/05 season he came to his first assignments in the honor division . At the same time he also played for the Zoetermeer Panters in the Eerste divisie, to which he then switched completely in 2005. In 2008 he returned to The Hague and won the Dutch championship with the club in 2009 . The following two years he played again for the second representation of the South Holland in the Eerste divisie. After spending the 2011/12 season with the also second-rate Dordrecht Lions , Kick has played for Hijs Hokij Den Haag continuously since 2012, where he was used in both the honor division and the Eerste divisie. In 2013 he won his second league title with the club. Since 2015 he has been playing with his team in the newly founded Belgian-Dutch BeNe League , which he won with the club in 2018. In the same year he also won the Dutch championship for the third time in his career.

International

In the national team , Kick was used for the first time at the 2016 World Cup in Division II and was immediately promoted to Division I. Kick himself contributed two goals to the 9-0 victory over the later relegated China . At the 2017 World Cup , he then played in Division I.
