The Jezioro Jasień , also Jezioro Jasieńskie (German Jassener See , Kashubian Jezero Jaséńsczè ) is a body of water in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is located in the extreme southeast of the Stolpetal Landscape Protection Park .

Jezioro Jasień is a 587 hectare lake surrounded by forest and is located 113 meters above sea level. It measures 7.8 km in length, 1.5 km in width, and its greatest depth is 32 meters. The Lupow (Łupawa) flows through the lake from south to north . The name-giving place is the Jasień ( Jassen ) located on the middle east bank . Other places on the lake are Zawiaty ( Saviat ) Ceromin ( Zeromin ) and Łupawsko ( Lupowske ), now all in bytów county ( Bütow county are), while before 1945 the northwest shore of the border district Stolp for county Bütow was.

Jezioro Jasień is located in the area of the municipality of Czarna Dąbrówka ( Schwarz Damerkow ). In the north it borders on Voivodship Road 211 , and in the south runs Voivodeship Road 228 . Until 1945, the Lauenburg – Bütow railway ran along the west bank , with its own Jassener See station , from where a road ran across the lake island of Wardel to the east bank of Jassen.

In the southern part, the Wobbrower See , cormorants settled in 1914 because of the abundance of fish in the lake . The Counts of Dürckheim in Jassen protected the constantly growing cormorant colony despite the damage caused by these birds. Numerous ospreys also nested at the lake . The protection of these animals ended in 1936 with the settlement of the Jassen estate. After 1945 the lake was overfished. Today tourism has it firmly under control.

In Poland, the former Nenkau lake is also called Jezioro Jasień . Today it is in the urban area of Gdansk .
