Jean-Christophe Roux (born July 21, 1969 ) is a French carom player and multiple national three- cushion champion .
Career
As an amateur player, Roux plays almost exclusively on a national level, there only in three cushion. He learned the classic series games free game and cadre at the beginning of his career as a billiard player. He won his first medal at a national tournament in Troyes in 2003 with bronze. With six gold medals at the French three-cushion championships , he is fourth among the most successful players in France, behind Richard Bitalis (11), Roger Hanoun (8) and Jérémy Bury (8). At the FFB national tournament he won a total of 22 medals, nine of which were gold. His greatest international success was the silver medal at the three-cushion European championship in 1997 in Bad Mondorf, Luxembourg . He lost there in the final to the Spaniard Daniel Sánchez with 0: 3 sets. Between 1998 and 2015 he took part a total of ten times in the three-cushion world championship for national teams in Viersen and came third with his team-mate Bury in 2004. He played for the French corporate club “AS AGIPI”, but never got a place in the AGIPI Billard Masters . With him he also took part in the Coupe d'Europe and was able to win the trophy four times in a row with his teammates Frédéric Caudron , Bury and Marco Zanetti .
In 2003 he released a training DVD in collaboration with the French TV broadcaster Kozoom .
