The French three-cushion championship is a series of tournaments to determine the French champion in the three- cushion billiard discipline . It has been held since 1922 and takes place annually. The organizer is the French umbrella organization Fédération Française de Billard (FFB). The winner is automatically entitled to participate in the three-cushion European championships. Richard Bitalis is the most successful player with 11 gold medals , Jérémy Bury holds the record in the general average (GD) with 1,786 (2011).
