Jean-Luc Guionnet (born January 29, 1966 in Lyon ) is a French jazz and improvisation musician ( saxophone , organ , electronics) who is also active as a film composer .

Live and act

Guionnet studied at the Paris Sorbonne a . a. with Geneviève Clancy , Iannis Xenakis and Bernard Tesseydre . Since the 1990s he has played with musicians such as Eric La Casa , Eric Cordier , Dan Warburton , Pascal Battus , Benjamin Duboc and Thomas Tilly . He also works in the field of electroacoustic music and with formations such as Hubbub (with Frédéric Blondy, Bertrand Denzler , Jean-Sébastien Mariage, Edward Perraud ), Phéromone and The Ames Room (with Clayton Thomas and Will Guthrie ). In the field of jazz he was involved in 29 recording sessions between 1998 and 2010. He also wrote music for z. Some short films made by myself.
