Jean-Paul Vesco OP (born March 10, 1962 in Lyon , France ) is Bishop of Oran .
Life
Jean-Paul Vesco joined the religious order of the Dominicans at and received on 24 June 2001, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 1, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Oran. The Archbishop of Lyon , Philippe Cardinal Barbarin , donated him episcopal ordination on January 25 of the next year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Algiers , Ghaleb Moussa Abdalla Bader , and his predecessor Alphonse Georger .
