Jean-Pierre-Dominique Zévaco CM (born July 30, 1925 in Vico , † July 25, 2017 in Fianarantsoa ) was a French religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Tôlagnaro .

Life

Jean-Pierre-Dominique Zévaco joined the religious order of the Lazarists and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1959 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Fort-Dauphin on September 26, 1968 . The Archbishop of Fianarantsoa , Gilbert Ramanantoanina SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on January 12 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Alphonse-Marie-Victor Fresnel CM, Bishop Emeritus of Fort-Dauphin, and Camille-Antoine Chilouet CM, Bishop of Farafangana . Since the diocese was renamed on November 23, 1989, he was Bishop of Tôlagnaro.

On April 24, 2001, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
