Jean Marie Vu Tât

Jean Marie Vu Tât ( Vietnamese : Gioan Maria Vũ Tất ; born March 10, 1944 in Dị Nậu ) is a Vietnamese clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Hưng Hóa .

Life

Jean Marie Vu Tât was ordained a priest on April 1, 1987 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on March 29, 2010 auxiliary bishop in Hưng Hóa and titular bishop of Thisiduo . He received his episcopal ordination on June 15 of the same year by the Bishop of Đà Lạt , Antoine Vu Huy Chuong ; Co-consecrators were Laurent Chu Van Minh , auxiliary bishop in Hanoi , and Pierre Nguyên Van Kham , auxiliary bishop in Ho Chi Minh City .

He was appointed bishop of Hưng Hóa on March 1, 2011, and was introduced to the office on March 22 of the same year. Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on August 29, 2020.
