Jean de Rossillon
Jean de Rossillon († probably April 15, 1341 ) was Bishop of Lausanne from 1323 to 1341 .
Life
Jean de Roussillon came from a noble family from the Pays de Gex and was first mentioned in 1295. In 1297 he was in the service of Count Amadeus V of Savoy as a judge in the Genevois and Chablais . In 1306 he was canon in Geneva and Lausanne . The cathedral chapter elected him Bishop of Lausanne in 1323. In the Laupenkrieg he stood on the side of Freiburg and the nobility of western Switzerland against Bern ,
