Jed Allan Brown (born March 1, 1935 in New York City , New York - † March 9, 2019 in Palm Desert , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Jed Allan Brown was born in 1935 to Celia and Nathan Brown. His grandparents were Russian Jewish immigrants.

Allan was married to Janice Toby Druger († 2001) since 1958 and had three sons with her. His son Mitch Brown (* 1960) is also an actor. Jed Allan died in Palm Desert in March 2019 at the age of 84.

Act

Allan graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in acting . He was best known for recurring roles in television series. He played Scott Turner in the series Lassie , Don Craig in Time of Longing , Rush Sanders in Beverly Hills, 90210 and in over 1000 episodes CC Capwell in California Clan . For his role in Zeit der Sehnsucht he was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award .
