Jeferson Barbosa da Cruz (born April 8, 1999 ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Cruz came to Austria in 2017 from the youth of EC Vitória to the regional league club FC Dornbirn 1913 . He made his regional league debut in July 2017 when he started against FC Alberschwende on matchday two of the 2017/18 season and was replaced by Kilian Madlener in the 66th minute. In the game that ended 2-2, Cruz scored the goal for Dornbirn to lead 1-0 in the meantime. In August 2017, he scored two goals in a game for Dornbirn for the first time in a 6-1 win against SV Seekirchen in 1945 . At the end of the season he had 20 regional league games to book, in which he scored seven goals.

In the summer of 2018 he switched to the fourth class amateurs of SC Austria Lustenau . He played his first game in the Vorarlberg League in July 2018 in a 5-0 win against FC Andelsbuch . In that game he also scored his first goal for Lustenau II.

In August 2018, Cruz was in the professional squad for the first time against SV Horn . He made his debut in the second division in September 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Sandro Djuric in the 88th minute against FC Liefering on matchday six of the 2018/19 season . He left Lustenau during the winter break of the 2018/19 season.

After half a year without a club, he moved to Armenia in August 2019 for first division club FC Yerevan .
