Jelena Viktorovna Dawydowa ( Russian Елена Викторовна Давыдова ; born August 7, 1961 in Voronezh , Soviet Union) is a former Soviet gymnast . She was a two-time Olympic champion .
At the age of 18, Davydova won two gold medals in the individual all-around competition and with the Soviet team in the team all-around competition at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow . She was also able to win a silver medal on the balance beam. She came fourth in the jump. A year later at the Gymnastics World Championships in 1981 , which also took place in Moscow, she was world champion in the all- around with the Soviet team. In the individual competitions she won a silver medal on the floor and twice bronze in the individual all-around and on the uneven bars.

- 1981: World team of the year in the Gazzetta dello Sport election with the Soviet women's gymnastics squad around Olga Bitscherowa , Natalja Ilijenko , Marija Filatowa , Stella Sacharowa and Elena Polewaja
