Jelena Zintschukova
Jelena Sintschukowa ( Russian Елена Синчукова , English transcription Yelena Sinchukova, born Иванова - Iwanowa - Ivanova; born January 23, 1961 in Kemerowo ) is a former Russian long and three-jumper .
Starting for the Soviet Union , she won bronze in the long jump at the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 and came fourth at the 1991 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. At the Athletics World Cup in 1992 she started second for the United Team .
In 1993 she was second at the European Athletics Cup in Rome and tenth at the World Championships in Stuttgart . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1994 in Paris she was seventh in the long jump and at the 1995 European Athletics Cup in Villeneuve-d'Ascq second in the triple jump.
In 1996 she won silver in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Stockholm and came second at the European Athletics Cup in Madrid . At the Olympic Games in Atlanta , she was eliminated in qualification.
In the long jump she was Soviet champion in 1991, Russian champion in 1993 and Russian indoor champion in 1994 and 1996.
