Jelena Viktorovna Jarkowa ( Russian Елена Викторовна Яркова * 11. April 1991 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian cross country - Sommerbiathletin .

Jekaterina Jarkowa made her international debut at the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell , where she won the bronze medal in the sprint behind Jekaterina Smirnowa and Thordis Arnold , but fell back to eighth place in the pursuit race. A year later she took part again in the European Championships in Osrblie and was second in both the sprint and the pursuit behind Monika Hojnisz and in front of Thordis Arnold. With the mixed relay of Russia she won the title. In 2013 she ran for the first time in the women's races in Haanja . She was twelfth in the sprint, but with an outstanding performance in the pursuit race that followed, she was able to improve to third place.
