Summer Biathlon European Championships 2013

The 10th open Summer Biathlon European Championships 2013 took place from August 2nd to 4th in Haanja , Estonia . The competitions were held in the cross-country disciplines sprint and pursuit for men and women and in the mixed relay. It was the top event in cross-country biathlon of the year and followed the races of the IBU Summer Cup 2013 .

The most successful nation was Russia with two out of five possible titles. Sergei Balandin also became the most successful individual participant with two titles. The most successful woman was Judith Wagner , who won a gold, silver and bronze medal and thus brought a European championship title to Germany for the first time.
