Toms Praulītis (born January 15, 1989 ) is a Latvian biathlete .

Toms Praulītis from the Cēsis Ski Club competed in his first international cross-country race in 2009 as part of the Scandinavian Cup in Riga and was 68. It has so far been his only international race in the sport. Since 2010 he has only started in biathlon. He made his international debut as part of the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby , where he was 66th of the individual, 78th of the sprint and 16th with the relay. The 2010 European Biathlon Championships followed in Otepää , where he was 25th in the individual race, 53rd in the sprint and 12th in the mixed relay. In the pursuit race he was taken out of competition as a lapped runner. 2010 Praulītis made his debut in the biathlon world cup and was 97th a sprint in Oberhof . He achieved his best result as 95th in a sprint race just a little later in Antholz . The first major event for men was the 2011 European Biathlon Championships in Ridnaun , where the Latvian did not finish the individual and missed the pursuit race in the sprint as 65th. At the 2011 Biathlon World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk , he was 95th in the sprint race.
