Vincent Kiplangat Kosgei (born November 11, 1985 ) is a Kenyan hurdler who specializes in the 400-meter distance , but is also used in the 4-by-400-meter relay because of his sprint strength .

At the 2010 African Athletics Championships in Nairobi, he was fourth in the 400 m hurdles and won the Kenyan relay around Geoffrey Ngeno , Julius Kirwa and Mark Kiprotich Muttai . He was also fourth in the same year at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi with a personal best of 49.36 seconds. With the relay, in which Vincent Mumo Kiilu and Anderson Mureta Mutegi replaced Ngeno and Kirwa, he won the silver medal.

In 2011 Kosgei was nominated as Kenyan champion over 400 m hurdles for the World Athletics Championships in Daegu . There he reached the semi-finals and finished sixth with the relay that took part in the occupation of New Delhi.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he was eliminated in the first round.
