Jemiołów ( German Petersdorf ) is a village in the rural municipality of Łagów (Lagow) in the powiat Świebodziński of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland .

It is located 16 km east of Torzym (Sternberg) and is part of the Łagów Landscape Protection Park ( Łagowski Park Krajobrazowy ). The source of the Pleiske is located five kilometers west of Jemiołów . In the north-west, the place borders on the hiking training area , when the neighboring villages of Lindow and Groß Kirschbaum were cleared when it was established in 1939.

Since 1818 Petersdorf was part of the Prussian district of Sternberg and when it was divided in 1873 it became part of the district of Oststernberg , to which it belonged until 1945. In 1939 there were 398 inhabitants in Petersdorf. After the end of the Second World War , the Neumark village became Polish and was named Jemiołów .

Since the 1960s there has been a transmitter for VHF and TV near Jemiołów at latitude 52 ° 21 'north and longitude 15 ° 16' east. A 316 meter high, guyed transmission mast is used as the antenna carrier.

Since 2001 there has been a partnership between Jemiołów and the Banzendorf district of the Lindow municipality in Brandenburg.
