Jenna Blasman (born September 24, 1993 in Kitchener ) is a Canadian snowboarder . She starts in the freestyle disciplines.
Career
Blasman has been participating in the TTR World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2009 . In February 2010 she got her first podium finishes at Billabong Flaunt It in Slopestyle with second place in Mont-Tremblant and first place in Blue Mountain . The following year, she won slopestyle at The Canadian Shield Ski and Snowboard Tour on Mount Seymour and in Calgary . In the 2011/12 season she started in Špindlerův Mlýn for the first time in the Snowboard World Cup and achieved 46th place in slopestyle. In February 2013 she won in slopestyle at Billabong Flaunt It in Big White . At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she finished 19th in slopestyle. In March 2014, she came third in the Slopestyle and second place in the Big Air competition at the Showcase Showdown in Whistler and third in the Slopestyle at the Dew Tour Am Series in Sun Peaks . In the 2014/15 season she achieved sixth and fifth places in the World Cup, 16th place in the Freestyle World Cup and seventh place in the Slopestyle World Cup. At the season highlight of the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , she was fifth in slopestyle. The following season she took third place in the Big Air World Cup. She reached second place in Big Air at the US Grand Prix and World Cup in Boston .
