Jenny Rautionaho (born July 26, 1996 in Rovaniemi ) is a Finnish ski jumper .
Career
Jenny Rautionaho took part in two Continental Cup competitions for the first time on December 8th and 9th, 2009 in Rovaniemi , Finland , where she finished 33th and 32nd and thus missed her first Continental Cup points. After only taking part in the two competitions in Rovaniemi again in 2010, she started more frequently in the Continental Cup from 2011.
At the 2010 Junior World Ski Championships in Hinterzarten , Rautionaho took 33rd place in the individual competition, 32nd place at the 2011 Junior World Ski Championships in Otepää and 32nd place at the 2012 Junior World Ski Championships in Erzurum, Turkey .
Rautionaho took part in the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck , which took place for the first time in January 2012 , where she finished seventh in the individual competition and fourth in the team competition together with Ilkka Herola and Miika Ylipulli .
On November 23, 2012, she made her debut as part of the Finnish team at the mixed team competition in Lillehammer at the same time in the ski jumping World Cup . Together with Julia Kykkänen , Sami Niemi and Janne Happonen , she reached tenth place. As a result, she had to pause for around half a year between 2013 and 2015 because of two cruciate ligament tears . At the end of the 2016/17 season, she tore her cruciate ligament again.
Rautionaho won the gold medal at the Finnish Championships 2016 in Taivalkoski ahead of Susanna Forsström and Julia Tervahartiala .
On December 14th and 15th, 2018 in Notodden, Norway, she achieved her best results so far in the Continental Cup with a sixth and seventh place.
Rautionaho currently lives in Rovaniemi .
