Jeroen Delmee
Jeroen Petrus Maria Delmee (born March 8, 1973 in Boxtel ) is a former Dutch hockey player who won the gold medal at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games .
The 1.73 m tall Delmee made 401 international matches for the Dutch national team from 1993 to 2008 . He took part in the Olympic Games four times. In addition to the two Olympic victories, he won the silver medal in 2004 and finished fourth in 2008 . At the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games, he was the flag bearer of the Dutch Olympic team . In addition to the two Olympic victories, he won the title at the 1998 World Cup and the 2007 European Championship with the national team .
Jeroen Delmee played in the Hoofd class for twenty years . He competed for the Tilburgse Mixed Hockeyclub , HC 's-Hertogenbosch and Oranje Zwart , and was twice Dutch champion with Hertogenbosch.
After his playing career, he was assistant coach for the Dutch women's national team from 2008 to 2010 . From 2011 he worked as an assistant coach for the Belgian men's team . In 2014 he was promoted to head coach in Belgium.
