Jeroen Lumu (born May 27, 1995 in Breda ) is a Dutch football player .

Career

Jeroen Lumu visited the regional youth department of Willem II Tilburg . He was part of the selection of the Dutch U-17 national team. In December 2011 Lumu signed a three-year contract with Willem II. A few days later it was announced that he would be going to Turkey with the first team in January 2012 for a training camp.

On January 16, 2012 he made his debut in the Eerste Divisie , in the away game against MVV Maastricht . In the 62nd minute he replaced Joonas Kolkka . At 16 years and 234 days old, Lumu was the youngest Willem II debutant ever. Ex-national player Wim Hofkens held the previous record . On November 17, 1974, he was sixteen years and 235 days old, only one day older. Five days later he made it 1-1 for his club, becoming the club's youngest ever goalscorer at the age of 16 years and 238 days. The previous record was also held by Wim Hofkens.

In January 2014 he moved to the reigning Bulgarian champion Ludogorez Razgrad .

In the summer of 2014 he returned to the Netherlands, where he moved to SC Heerenveen . However, his contract was terminated in October 2014 after just one game for Heerenveen.

In November 2014 he moved to FC Dordrecht . Since Lumu had already been used for Rasgrad and Heerenveen in the 2014/15 season, he was only allowed to play for Dordrecht in the 2015/16 season.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to Austria for Bundesliga club SKN St. Pölten , where he received a contract that was valid until June 2018. At the end of the year, his contract in St. Pölten was terminated.

In January 2017 he moved to Turkey for second division team Samsunspor . For the next season he moved on to the Indian club Delhi Dynamos FC .
