Jerzy Jan Wyrobek (born December 17, 1949 in Chorzów , † March 26, 2013 in Sosnowiec ) was a Polish football player and coach .
Career
player
The defender Jerzy Wyrobek began his career at Stadion Śląski Chorzów and moved to Zagłębie Wałbrzych in 1967 . With this club he rose a year later to the Ekstraklasa , the highest Polish league. In 1969 Wyrobek moved to Ruch Chorzów , with whom he was three times champion and one cup winner. In 1982 he moved to TuS Schloß Neuhaus from Paderborn , which had just been promoted to the 2nd German Bundesliga . For Schloss Neuhaus he completed 24 second division games, but remained without a goal. At the end of the season his team was relegated from bottom of the table and Wyrobek returned to Poland. Between 1970 and 1977 Wyrobek completed 15 games for the Polish national team .
Trainer
In 1987 he took over his old club Ruch Chorzów and led the team to the Polish championship in 1989. Later he worked for Sokol Tychy , GKS Bełchatów , Zagłębie Lubin , Pogoń Stettin , KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski , Tur Turek , GKS 1962 Jastrzębie and Zagłębie Sosnowiec .
