Jesús Ramírez Brenes (born January 3, 1983 in Cádiz ) is a Spanish football player .
Career
society
The 1.76 meter tall midfielder began his career at Atlético Madrid . In June 2001 he made his debut for Atlético Madrid B when he was substituted on in the promotion playoff game against CD Calahorra in the 57th minute. With Atlético B he missed promotion to the Segunda División . His debut in the Segunda División B he finally gave in September 2001 on the second day of the 2001/02 season in the game against Hércules Alicante in the starting line-up. On the following day of the match there was another match against RSD Alcalá , which should be his last in the jersey of the Atlético Madrid amateurs. Brenes started and was replaced by Javier Del Pino in the 67th minute .
In January 2002 Brenes switched to CD Mensajero and was a regular from the start. After he received a yellow card suspension and had to pause a game, he sat on the bench for the first time on matchday 32 against FC Universidad Las Palmas and was substituted on for Román Miranda after 55 minutes. After that he was an attacking midfielder again in the first team in every game. With CD Mensajero he rose in the same year in the fourth-class Tercera División .
For the 2002/03 season he moved to the third division CD Toledo . On matchday 37, he scored his first goal for CD Toledo in a 1-1 draw against Gernika Club with the goal to make it 1-0 in the fifth minute. He received two yellow cards in this game and was sent off as the third player on his team after Jorge Martín de San Pablo and Óscar Mena in the 80th minute. The game was his last for CD Toledo. After 30 games for the club, he joined the fourth-class second team of FC Elche in the summer of 2003 . In 2004 he went to the amateurs of FC Cádiz .
For the 2005/06 season Brenes moved to the third division CD Alcalá , but could not prevail there. After he had only six games as a substitute after 23 match days, he came more often from the start at the end of the season. He started the 2006/07 season again as a substitute and briefly fought for a regular place in the middle of the season. Then he was a substitute again from the 28th round.
After completing 36 games for CD Alcalá, in which he scored a goal, he joined the UD Lanzarote , where he was awarded a one-year contract. On Lanzarote he earned a regular place and came in 21 games from the start; in ten he was substituted on. For the 2008/09 season he moved to Orihuela FC . He played 31 games for Orihuela FC, including 27 from the start.
In summer 2009 he moved to UD Puertollano . After seven league games, he went to the Austrian second division club SCR Altach in January 2010 . He made his debut with Vorarlberg in the second division in March 2010 on the 19th match day of the 2009/10 season in the game against FC Lustenau 07 in the starting line-up. He scored his first goal for the Altacher on matchday 29 against FC Dornbirn 1913 in the 90th minute with the goal to make it 4-0.
After he had been a regular in the previous season, Brenes lost his regular place in the 2010/11 season and was temporarily not even on the bench. In January 2011, his contract in Altach was finally terminated. After the contract was terminated, he returned to Spain, where he joined the UD Alzira . After the end of the season, nine games and relegation to the fourth division, he left Alzira.
National team
Brenes was called up in various Spanish youth national selections. After playing for the U-15 team in 1999, he also played several games for the U-16 national team between 1999 and 2000 . He made his debut against Belgium in October 1999 when he came on for Alfonso Gutiérrez in the 40th minute . In January 2000 he acted as captain of his team for the first time against Serbia and Montenegro .
