Goalkeeper Jürgen Rindler

Jürgen Rindler (born April 10, 1986 in Hartberg ) is a former Austrian soccer goalkeeper . He was most recently under contract with the first league club TSV Hartberg .

Rindler started playing football at the age of eight for the Styrian club TSV Hartberg , where he went through all ages. In June 2003 he was hired for the youth department of the former Bundesliga club Grazer AK , where he was initially used in the youth team, but later also in the amateur team of the traditional Graz club.

On January 31, 2006, he was signed by Kapfenberger SV , where, in addition to his regular goalkeeping position, he also acted as a substitute goalkeeper for the professional team. So Rindler made his debut in the first division team on April 21, 2006 when he was substituted on for Kazimierz Sidorczuk in the 81st minute of the match against LASK Linz , who ended his active career with this game. In the nine remaining minutes of the game, he had to accept no goal in the 1: 2 defeat. In July 2006, Rindler was signed by the Burgenland regional league club SV Oberwart , where he was the regular goalkeeper.

In June 2007 Jürgen Rindler returned to his home club TSV Hartberg, with whom he won the championship title in the Middle Regional League in the 2008/09 season and thus secured promotion to the First League.

After the 2013/14 season, he ended his active career at the age of 28 and from then on worked in his parents' jewelery business in the Hartberg pedestrian zone , as he did during his active time . After the idea was born a year and a half earlier to bring Rindler to the board of TSV Hartberg as executive chairman, this finally happened in mid-August 2014, where he will continue to do this full-time job. As chairman, he replaced Franz Grandits , who had been in office for around 14 years, who had been doing this job on a voluntary basis until then and then switched to the supervisory board.
