Kazimierz Sidorczuk (born March 4, 1967 in Szczecin ) is a former Polish football goalkeeper and active goalkeeper coach at SK Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga .

Career

Goalkeeping career

Sidorczuk began his career as a professional goalkeeper in 1985 in his native Poland, where he came to his first club Dąb Dębno in Dębno , where he was under contract until 1986. Another engagement followed in Kostrzyn nad Odrą when he joined the local football club Celuloza Kostrzyn . From 1986 to 1989 in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, he moved to his first professional club, Lech Posen , in 1989 , where he made a total of 115 appearances until he left in 1993, celebrating three championship titles and winning the Polish Supercup.

In 1993 he transferred to Pniewy to TS Tygodnik Miliarder Pniewy , where he was only used in one season and completed five games. In 1994 he moved to Lubin for nine more games to play there Zagłębie Lubin , before moving again in 1994 to another club. This was Warta Posen , in which he came to a total of eleven games, but his talent was more and more overshadowed.

When Sidorczuk left the club during the season, Wisła Płock took him from Płock on the Vistula . For the football club he played in 17 games until he left in 1995. In 2002 Sidorczuk, the former best goalkeeper in Austria, moved to the KSV in Kapfenberg in the second-class first division .

He caused a stir in the 2003/04 season when he scored a goal through a wide committee from his own penalty area in the away game against FC Wacker Innsbruck .

At the end of the 2005/06 season , Sidorczuk ended his active career as a football goalkeeper, after exactly 100 appearances for the Kapfenberger . His goal against Wacker Innsbruck was to be the only one in his career.

Coaching career

In 2006, Franco Foda , the then coach of SK Sturm Graz , asked him to join his former team as a goalkeeper coach . Sidorczuk accepted the offer and was the Blackies goalkeeping coach until 2014 . After a sudden rift between the club's management and the goalkeeping coach, he was dismissed and has been unemployed for two years (as of July 2016).

International

Sidorczuk came to 14 missions for the Polish national team . He made his national team debut on December 19, 1990 in a 2-1 away win over Greece .

Private

Before his career as a soccer goalkeeper, he learned the craft of confectioner .

In February 2001 Sidorczuk received from the Council of Ministers , the Austrian citizenship and became a dual citizenship because he also Polish citizenship has.

Sidorczuk is married and has two children.
