Joshua "Josh" Alexander Gatt (born August 29, 1991 in Plymouth , Michigan ) is an American football player in the position of midfielder . Gatt was already active for the USA national team .
Career
society
The 177 centimeter tall offensive midfielder, whose move from the Michigan Wolves academy team was already confirmed in February 2010, was registered with the Austrian Football Association on July 8, 2010 by the Austrian second division club SCR Altach . Gatt had his first professional appearance on July 30, 2010 when he came on for Daniel Schütz in the 63rd minute of the Vorarlbergs 2-1 win at First Vienna FC .
Already in the winter break of 2010/11, he moved to the Norwegian Tippeligaen for Molde FK as the preferred player of the newly appointed coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær .
After six seasons in Norway, he returned to the USA in February 2017, where he joined the MLS club Minnesota United . Without having played a game for Minnesota United, he moved to Colorado Rapids in March 2017 as part of a player swap . After the 2017 season he left the club.
In July 2018 he returned to SCR Altach, now playing in the Bundesliga , where he received a contract that ran until June 2019. He left Altach after the 2018/19 season. After a year without a club, he moved to Ireland for Dundalk FC in July 2020 .
National team
After Gatt also previously for US U-20 team had played, he made his debut in November 2012 for the senior team when he was in a friendly against Russia was in the starting and in the 63rd minute through Juan Agudelo was replaced .
