Amateur career

Hart had a thoroughly successful career as an amateur. In 2009 he was US runner-up when he defeated Luis Arias , Jesus Correa and Russell Lamour unanimously on points in Denver before he was disqualified in the final against Terrell Gausha in the third round .

In 2011 he became the American champion in Colorado Springs . There he also won against Adam Willis and Marquice Weston each by a unanimous decision of the judge and in the final he was able to prevail against Jerry Odom. Hart also won the Golden Gloves tournament that year in Indianapolis with points wins over Anthony Bailey, Anthony Campbell, Leandre White, Antoine Douglas and Daquan Arnett .

In the US Trials, Hart also came second and was thus qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games .

His record was 96 fights, 85 wins and 11 losses.

Professional career

The 1.91 m tall left-hander began his professional career successfully with a knockout victory in the first round over Manuel Eastman in 2012.

Hart won his first professional title in 2014 by beating Samuel Clarkson for the vacant NABF championship over 8 rounds on points (Hart won every round with all three judges).

On September 22, 2017, he competed against Gilberto Ramírez for the WBO World Championship and lost a little bit on points (2 × 112: 115, 113: 114).
