Jessica Stam
Jessica Stam (born April 23, 1986 in Kincardine , Ontario ), also known simply as Stam , is a Canadian supermodel .
biography
Jessica Stam grew up with six other brothers in a very religious family. She actually wanted to be a dentist. Stam was discovered in a coffee shop after a trip to an amusement park and signed by IMG .
Model career
In 2002, Stam won a modeling competition in Los Angeles . The then 16-year-old Stam was then engaged in his work by photographer Steven Meisel . Stam has worked with Versace , Vera Wang , Prada and Dolce & Gabbana , among others . Marc Jacobs even created a bag named after her (The Marc Jacobs Stam). Stam debuted at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2006 and ran for it in 2007 and 2010.
In 2007, Vogue named them, alongside Caroline Trentini , Doutzen Kroes , Sasha Pivovarova , Chanel Iman , Lily Donaldson , Raquel Zimmermann , Agyness Deyn , Hilary Rhoda and Coco Rocha, as the new group of supermodels. In 2011 she was named the new face for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week .
