Claudia had her son Daniel when she was fifteen. Daniel used to be Claudia's excuse for not finishing school and not looking for a job. The two now live with Claudia's brother and mother in a social flat in Vienna . Not only do they all have no jobs. What they really lack is perspective. Claudia remains passive, is afraid of being responsible for life-defining decisions and evades them. Your castles in the air are far from reality. She stands at the crossroads: continue to avoid life or accept its challenges and finally grow up.
The film shows what happens when nothing seems to happen. The director Lisa Weber was at the side of Claudia and her family for over three years. The film is an invitation to the audience to look behind the façades of the reality shows and get insights into real life that make us laugh, shock and move us deeply.

The conception of the film comes from Lisa Weber and Roland Stöttinger. Lisa Weber also directs. Carolina Steinbrecher was the camerawoman. The film was produced by Rudolf Takacs (Takasc Filmproduction) in coproduction with Ulrich Seidl Film Produktion. The ORF promised 82,500 euros. The film was funded by the Austrian Film Institute and Filmstandort Austria . The Filminstut supported the production with 230,000 €, which corresponds to 60% of the total costs.
The film was shot in Austria on 60 days between August 2016 and May 2018.
He celebrated on 25 February 2020 to the Berlinale world premiere in the section Panorama documents .
