Yevgeny Jurjewitsch Dratzew ( Russian Евгений Юрьевич Дратцев ; born January 24, 1983 in Yaroslavl , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian long-distance swimming athlete who specializes in open water competitions.

At the Open Water World Championships in Naples in 2006 he won his first medal over 10 km in 2:10:40 hours behind the winner Thomas Lurz and the Italian Valerio Cleri .

At the Swimming World Championships in Melbourne in 2007 he won the silver medal over 5 km in 56: 50.7 behind Lurz and in front of the Greek Spyros Gianniotis as well as the bronze medal over 10 km behind his compatriot Wladimir Djattschin and Lurz.

At the Olympic Games in Beijing he was fifth over 10 km in 1: 52: 08.9. The winner here was Maarten van der Weijden from the Netherlands in 1: 51: 51.6.

At the 2010 Open Water World Championships in Roberval , Canada , he finished second both over 5 km (57: 44.1) and over 10 km (2: 01: 00.6). The winners here were Lurz and Cleri.

At the European Swimming Championships in Budapest in 2010 he was third over 10 km (1: 54: 26.6) behind his long-term competitors Lurz and Cleri.

At the 2011 World Swimming Championships in Shanghai , he finished third behind Lurz and Gianniotis in 56: 18.5 over 5 km.
