The 2010 Open Water World Championships took place from July 15 to 23, 2010 in Roberval , Canada . The traditional individual competitions for women and men were held over distances of 5, 10 and 25 kilometers.

Two of the six titles went to Italian and US athletes. Won the women Eva Fabian 5 kilometers Martina Grimaldi 10-kilometer and Linsy Heister over 25 kilometers. In the men's category, Thomas Lurz secured the title over 5 kilometers, Valerio Cleri won over 10 kilometers and Alexander Meyer over 25 kilometers.
