Jimmy Schmidt , full name Jimmy Nicolás Schmidt Vallejo , (born December 15, 1981 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
societies
The 1.92 meter tall goalkeeper Schmidt was at the beginning of his career from 1999 to the end of 2002 in the ranks of the team of Nacional Montevideo . In the first half of 2003 he was a member of the Villa Española squad . Plaza Colonia was his employer for the rest of the year. From July 2005 until the end of the year he played in Belgium for RAEC Mons . There he played three league games. He then returned to Plaza Colonia and was used in two Primera División matches. In July 2005, the Rampla Juniors signed him . With the Montevideans he ran in the Apertura 2005 in 16 first division games. In early January 2006 he joined the Spanish second division Hércules Alicante until the end of the 2005/06 season . From his debut on January 22, 2006 against Recreativo de Huelva to his last league game on February 12, 2006, he was a total of four times in the Segunda División . In 2007 he played 19 games in the top Uruguayan league for Central Español . During 2009 an engagement in Peru with Sport Áncash is carried out for him.
