Jing Ulrich ( Chinese  李晶 , Pinyin Lǐ Jīng ; * 1967 as Li Jing in Beijing , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese manager.

Life

Ulrich earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 1990 and a master's degree from Stanford University in 1992 . As early as 1990, Elmer Gertz , a human rights activist and protégé Clarence Darrows , in his autobiography To Life: The Story of a Chicago Lawyer, described her as a future Chinese eminent executive.

Jing Ulrich lives in Hong Kong , speaks Mandarin and English and is married to the book author and former advisor Paul Ulrich .

Career

She heads the JPMorgan Chase investment bank in China. Ulrich holds investor conferences in China, at which Zhu Rongji and Bill Clinton, among others, have spoken in the past .

She was listed several times, in 2009 and 2010, by Fortune among the most powerful business women worldwide.

She also advises Chinese companies that invest abroad on the Chinese market. She has also been interviewed and featured in national and international media several times, such as Maria Bartiromos CNBC business magazine Closing Bell , the public broadcasting service PBS Nightly Business Report, Bloomberg Television as well as the Financial Times , New York Times and the Wall Street Journal .

Ulrich worked at Deutsche Bank in China from 2003 to 2005 . Before that she was responsible for Asia at Crédit Lyonnais . In the United States, she worked as a fund manager in Washington, DC and Bankers Finance Investment.
