João Ricardo Riedi (born September 6, 1988 in Mariano Moro , RS ) is a Brazilian soccer goalkeeper .

Career

João Ricardo began his career in 2008 at the lower class Concórdia AC . After several changes, sometimes several times a year, he came to Paysandu SC in 2012 . At the club he appeared in a league game of the C Series.

In 2013 he first came to the Veranópolis ECRC . With this he denied the Campeonato Gaúcho and the Copa do Brasil . To start the league operation, he joined the ADRC Icasa in the Série B . He played his first game in the league on June 12, 2013 against Atlético Goianiense . At the end of the season, Icasa had to relegate to the Série C as 19th in the table. By moving to the Paraná Clube , he was able to remain in Série B.

João Ricardo started with Paraná in the 2014 season , but did not get beyond the role of reserve player in all competitions. During the season, the player went to league rivals América Mineiro . Here he was able to assert himself as a regular goalkeeper. 2015 reached América fourth place in the Série B and qualify for promotion to the Series A . Even in the league, João Ricardo remained the goalkeeper. His first game of the season he played on May 15, 2016. At the end of the season , América had to relegate as bottom of the table again. In 2017, Série B managed to get back up as a champion. João Ricardo played 34 out of 38 possible games. After the 2018 season , America had to relegate back to Série B in eighth place. João Ricardo stayed with the series by moving to Chapecoense .
