JoJo Siwa
Joelle Joanie "JoJo" Siwa (born May 19, 2003 in Omaha , Nebraska ) is an American dancer , singer , actress and web video producer . She became known through the reality show Dance Moms , in which she was seen in two seasons.
Career
Joelle Joanie Siwa, called JoJo, was born in Omaha in 2003 and started dancing in her mother's dance studio at the age of five. In 2013, Siwa was one of the top 5 finalists of the second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and the youngest candidate in the second season. The following year she took part in auditions for the Abby Lee Miller's Dance Company (ALDC for short) competition team and was selected for the team in early 2015. From then on she played in the reality TV series Dance Moms produced by ALDC , which she left after two seasons.
Siwa has been featured in several television films and television specials on the private broadcaster Nickelodeon since 2015 . In May 2016 she released the single Boomerang , which is based on the topic of bullying on the Internet. The video was viewed more than 770 million times on YouTube and received more than 3.5 million likes (as of October 2019) . In 2017 she also received platinum.
Siwa released two singles in 2017, titled Kid In A Candy Store and Hold The Drama . In 2018 she released the singles Every Girl's a Super Girl , High Top Shoes , Only getting better and DREAM . In 2019 she brought the singles My Story , Everyday Popstars , Bop! , It's Time to Celebrate , Worldwide Party and # 1U . In 2020 she released the singles Worldwide Party Remix and Nonstop .
