Joachim Ehrenreich von Benekendorff

Joachim Ehrenreich von Benekendorff (* around 1686 ; † June 26, 1756 ) was a Prussian district administrator . From 1739 until his death he was in charge of the Schivelbein district in Neumark .

He came from the noble New Mark family Benekendorff (also spelled "Beneckendorff"). His father Joachim von Benekendorff (* around 1645) was the heir to Klemzow , Denzig and Lankow and district administrator of the Schivelbein district. His mother Sophia was née von Beerfelde .

Joachim Ehrenreich von Benekendorff studied from 1706, together with his younger brother Georg Friedrich von Benekendorff, law at the University of Halle . Then he joined the Prussian Army . As a lieutenant he took his leave.

He then lived on his Klemzow estate . In 1738, Curt Melchior von Kettwig became adjunct of the district administrator of the Schivelbein district , and after his death received the office of district administrator the following year. He held the office until his death in 1756. His successor was George Heinrich von Blanckenburg .
